Friendship Bench

The Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs and Friendship Bench are partnering to support social entrepreneurs at ACMS.

Together, the Elders Council for Social Entrepreneurs and Friendship Bench are providing a Friendship Bench at this year’s summit, with elders of the social innovation community offering support to conference participants. Visitors to the bench will be able to bring any issues for discussion - from succession to struggles with day-to-day operations, from financial worries to well-being concerns. You can book a one-to-one chat with an elder below. The elders of the Friendship Bench will provide a listening ear and support (if wanted) to those sitting beside them.

• For mental health support, you can book online, one-to-one treatment, delivered by Friendship Bench trained mental health supporters at www.friendshipbenchzimbabwe.org/online. Sessions are held on WhatsApp call or chat (country rates apply). Friendship Bench also offer a self-directed support option where people can access free psychoeducation materials at www.friendshipbenchzimbabwe.org/fbfs.
